At Tilstils, we’re committed to making your shopping experience smooth from start to finish. That’s why we offer free delivery across the UK Mainland — with no minimum spend.

We partner with a trusted network of couriers to ensure your order arrives safely and on time. Every delivery also includes complimentary insurance, giving you peace of mind from dispatch to doorstep.

Here’s everything you need to know about how our delivery service works:


Processing & Dispatch Times

We process and dispatch orders Monday to Friday, typically within 3-4 business days. During very busy periods (like our sale events), dispatch may take up to 7 business days — but we’ll always keep you updated.


Delivery Times (From Dispatch)

  • Small & Medium Items: 1–2 working days
  • Heavy Products from 10kg: 2–5 working days

Deliveries are typically made Monday to Friday. Weekend delivery is not guaranteed and varies by courier.

We’ll always contact you before large-item deliveries — please ensure your contact details are correct.


Order Confirmation

Once your order is placed, it’s immediately entered into our system for processing. You’ll receive an email confirmation and tax receipt shortly after. If it doesn’t arrive, please check your junk or spam folder and mark support@directhomefurniture.co.uk as a safe sender.


Delivery Partners & Tracking

Standard orders are dispatched via our trusted couriers including Yodel, Amazon Shipping, Evri, DX, and Palletways. You will receive a tracking number for your convenience once the item has been dispatched.


Shipping Protection Promise

Every order is backed by our Shipping Protection Promise — you’re covered against loss or damage.

If your item arrives damaged, simply contact us with clear photos and a description, and we’ll resolve it quickly with a refund or replacement.

If your order doesn’t arrive, we’ll guide you through the claims process for swift resolution.

Please report any issues within seven days of delivery so we can assist promptly.


On Delivery Day

Please ensure someone is available to receive and sign for the delivery.

If you’d prefer your order to be left with a neighbour or in a safe place, you can leave a signed note with clear instructions for the driver. However, please note that if no signature is obtained, insurance coverage for loss or damage may not apply.


Delivery Details

Most deliveries are made to your front door or the ground floor entrance of apartment buildings. While some drivers may offer additional assistance, please note that most couriers are not insured to enter your property.

If assistance is needed, we recommend arranging help from a friend, family member, or neighbour on delivery day as a backup.

Your order may arrive in multiple shipments or via different couriers depending on the items ordered. Don’t worry — if parts of your order arrive separately, the rest will be on their way shortly.

Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Delivery timeframes are estimates based on the dispatch date (not your order date) and may vary slightly.

If you’re not home at the time of delivery, or if the delivery occurs outside regular hours, please note: if the driver considers it safe, your order may be left in a secure location (such as your doorstep or building entrance) without requiring a signature.

Cancellations and Returns

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us immediately. We aim to dispatch goods as soon as possible, and while we attempt to retrieve dispatched items, they may still be delivered. If so, please reject the delivery, and upon return, we will process a full refund.


Multiple Items Delivery

While we strive to deliver all items from a single order together, we cannot guarantee this due to different warehouse operations.


UK Mainland Delivery Service

We’re pleased to offer complimentary delivery across the UK Mainland. 


Unsupported Postcodes

Unfortunately, we do not deliver to the following locations:

  • Isle of Wight
  • Isle of Man
  • Isles of Scilly
  • Northern Ireland
  • Channel Islands
  • Certain Scottish Highlands postcodes
